A Preschool through 8th Grade Catholic Elementary School
Early Childhood Education
Enrolling your child in an Early Childhood Program is an exciting time for your family. These are the years when children explore, discover, and grow. Through play and investigation, children learn about themselves and the world around them. Our programs are designed to provide an abundance of opportunities for young children to embark on an educational journey toward developing the whole person: body, mind and spirit. Our learning activities are tied to an inquiry-based model of learning. The students draw upon their own experiences and acquired knowledge to investigate problem-solving situations where discovery and experimentation lead them to learning. Children explore, manipulate objects, question, and develop age appropriate answers or products. Nurturing this form of learning results in students being more likely to remember concepts, build knowledge enabling them to add on more complex ideas as they grow academically.

Once again, voted one of the best preschools in Chicago!
"We want to thank all of the faculty at staff at IC School for the wonderful 9 years! Our son had a well rounded academic and social experience during his time, and we as parents did too! He was able to participate in diverse sports and after school activities. Being at IC helped him be confident in many situations, including in a leadership role.
IC also provided lots of opportunities for my husband and I to get involved. We were active in school board, Holy Name Mens Club and Parents Club. We've met wonderful people through IC that will be life long friends.
There are many other examples, but I wanted to share a few that make IC The Place To Be!
