A Preschool through 8th Grade Catholic Elementary School
Service in the Community
At Immaculate Conception School, knowledge and practice of the Catholic faith are incorporated into all areas of the curriculum. An important component is providing the link between Catholic social teaching and service. Those teachings are incorporated into the students’ lives through age-appropriate service projects. Some of the service projects we participate in are: Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, writing cards and letters to veterans, and entertaining the residents of our local retirement home with singing at Halloween and Christmas. We also have a Service Club. The IC Service Club is a student, staff and parent group that participates in service to model our Catholic Faith. Each month the club actively engages its members in activities such as making lunches for the poor.
