Student, faculty, and staff safety is very important to us.   We have the following safeguards in place:

· Outside doors to gain entry to IC are locked and keyless.

· The glass in the outside doors are protected with a shatterproof coating.

· Students are instructed to never open the outside doors for anyone.

· Every parent or visitor has to go to the front doors and ring the bell.

· The office has a 12” color monitor (2 views) to see who is at the door before being permitted entrance into the school.

· There is a working camera at every outside door which records 24 hours a day.

· We have off-duty police officers working  security.

· The security guards have access to all the camera views.

· The security guards also hear the doorbell and can see who is at the front door.

· All teachers and staff  have the Share 911 app.
